The students were divided into teams, with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 3 students in each team. The winning team for the competition was determined by adding the total scores from both the rounds.

On January 21, 2023, the activity was held in Room 255 of the Computer Science and Engineering Department. The event which began at 10:30 and ended at 12:30 was judged by Mr. Ranjan Satish of Way link Pitstop Solutions Ltd. It was organised by Mrs. Thejashwini M. 30 students (in 10 teams) from the CSE Department took part in this competition. The event was started by the Event Coordinators and Student Coordinators at the appointed time.

Round 1 (Qualifying Round)

TECH QUIZ: For this round, each team received a series of 15 questions relating to networks and app development, as well as a coding question. The total time allotted to the pupils to complete the questions was 45 minutes. After the allotted time, the papers were collected, the answers were compared with the answer key, and they were then scored out of twenty. The three teams that received the highest number of correct answers advanced to the final round.

All the participants were motivated to finish Round 1 within the allotted time. The questions were challenging and the participants needed to have a basic understanding of networks and app development. At around 11:15 a.m., Round 1 got over, and the results were announced.

3 teams made it to Round 2, which was scheduled for January 21, 2023, at 11:15 am.

Round 2 (Final Round)

App Prototype Development: The top 3 teams who qualified from Round 1 were assigned the task of designing a prototype for the application by using a social problem as a statement. The students had one hour and ten minutes to finish the assignment. The participants worked with a variety of design tools. They participated in this round with enthusiasm and gave the app design their all. After the allotted time, the students presented their work to the judges, who evaluated them based on their originality, the number of features they included, their efficiency etc. The top two, out of the three teams who competed in Round 2, were chosen as winners.
