The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering organized SPARK Club activity on 2nd June 2022, at Rajalakshmi Seminar Hall. The event started at 10:30 am. The 4th, 6th and 8th Semester students of the EEE Department participated in this activity. The title of the activity was Automation using IoT. 15 groups competed, and the activity comprised of two rounds.
At 11.00am, the event was inaugurated by our beloved Principal, Dr. Mahabaleswarappa and Mr. Aman Tripathi R&D Engineer ABB Global, Bangalore. After the inauguration speech by the two guests, round 1 started at 11.30 am.

In the first round, the teams gave presentations, based on the topic ‘Automation using IoT’. Each team was given 15 minutes to present their idea. Based on the content in the presentation and innovation of the model, scores were given.
In this round, the teams demonstrated their models, and based on the innovation in the model winners were selected.

The students participated actively in the event. They were able to enhance their technical skills through this activity. It also helped them to learn about time management and team work.
