There is no substitute for fundamentals. The focus of Physics lab is to make the students gain practical knowledge to co-relate with the theoretical studies. The main objective of Engineering Physics lab is to make students achieve perfectness in experimental skills with a belief that study of practical applications will bring more confidence and ability in them to develop and fabricate engineering and technical equipments.
In addition to the huge collection of Physics books in the Central library in the campus, we have a Department library with core Physics books and books from Noble Laureates and numerous e-books collection.
The following facilities are available in R&D lab for any of the Project and Research activities by Students and Faculty.

- Active Research & Development Lab known for producing plenty of publications each year with facilities such as:
- Centrifuge
- Magnetic Stirrer
- Furnace – Max. Temperature 1000˚ C
- 5W Laser source
- 2D Water Plant for distillatio
- Mechanical Measuring devices (Accuracy upto 0.01mm)
