The event had a Morning Session (AN) that began at 9:30 am, and an Afternoon Session (FN) that started at 1:30 pm, concluding at 3:30 pm on 2nd December 2023. The Department of Information Science and Engineering organized a workshop on” Software Defined Vehicle” on 24th June 2023, at the college auditorium. The event started at 10:00 am and concluded at 12:30 pm. 200 students from the IV semester of the Dept. of ISE and CSE (Data Science) attended the event. Chief Guest Anitha Loganathan, Engineering Group Manager at Aptiv India Components Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated the event and enlightened the students on the development in the automobile sector.

Workshop on “Ethical Hacking”

The Department of Information Science and Engineering organized a Workshop on entitled ‘Ethical Hacking’, on 23rd October 2020. This workshop aimed to give basic knowledge on ethical hacking and how to protect our systems against security threats. The resource speaker for the workshop was Mr. Samarth Bhaskar Bhat, Technical Director, Reverse Engineering Infosec. The workshop has provided an insight of the Ethical Hacking i.e., compromise of email hacking, DOS attacks,SQL Injection etc. Students got an opportunity to experience hands-on session along with theoretical sessions step by step.

The main aim of this workshop was to give hands-on experience on algorithms that aim at finding patterns or models hidden in the data Mr. Sripada H Ravindranath started his session by stating that Data mining is a valuable tool in modern business & Mr. Sripada H Ravindranath highlighted various applications of data mining tools in Industries.
