Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a club activity on “ROBOTIC DESIGN CHALLENGE” under CoE in Robotics and Industrial Automation on 27.01.2024. In this competition, participating students across various streams had to exhibit their bots designed from the scratch. The event aimed to showcase the engineering and programming skills of participants in designing autonomous robots capable of following a predefined line on a track. This event was conducted and coordinated by Mr. L.David William Raj (AP/ECE), Dr. Utsab Banerjee(AP/ECE) and Mr. Subhradip Mukherjee (AP/ECE). 29 students from ECE and various other branches, including students of 1st year, 2nd year and 3rd year students participated in this club activity.

The track featured a combination of straight paths, sharp turns, and intersections, providing a comprehensive test of the line follower robots capabilities. The complexity of the track required participants to employ advanced algorithms and sensors for successful navigation.
