MVJ College of Engineering celebrates FOUNDER’S DAY 2019

MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore celebrated “Founder’s Day” on 17 May, 2019 to honor and to pay homage to the institutional founder Late, Dr. M V Jayaraman on his 92 birth day.

Established in 1982, MVJ College of Engineering, the flagship of Venkatesha Education Society, imparts education beyond engineering and management. Situated on a 15-acre campus in Whitefield, Bangalore.

Dr. M V Jayaraman, the founder of MVJ group of institution was teacher-scholarmusician. Above all, he was a visionary. He sought to deliver value and excellence in education across disciplines. He founded the Venkatesha Education Society in 1970. Dr. M V Jayaraman first began a Teacher Training College. Today MVJ Group of Institutions imparts a range of skills and knowledge, including Engineering, Medicine, Management, Teacher Training, Nursing, Primary and Secondary Education.

The Founder’s Day programme is graced by the presence of the chief guest Dr. P. Balaram, Director (Retd.), Indian Institute of Science and Guest of Honour Shri. T. Prabhakar, Former Chairman of NGEF and KSRTC.

The occasion witnessed the felicitation of VTU rank holders, toppers from each current year and students secured 100 % marks in VTU examination, achieving gold medal in VTU tournaments with Gold medals and certificate of merit.

The faculty members are also honored with Gold medal for securing 100% student results in their respective subject, and cash prize and certificates for the best paper publication in the reputed journals with high impact factor and Book publication.

11 Faculty members and 82 students were awarded today. 20 Gold medals and 69 Silver medals were awarded to students and faculty members.
