The event started at 10.00 am with the Welcome Speech and Guest Introduction. After this, the Guest Speaker Mr. Nanda Kishore L, Senior Engineer- Solar DNV MES India private limited, Bangalore, took over the session. He first explained about the global energy crisis, fuel exhaustion, electricity shortages, and global warming. Then he explained about the integration of distributed energy resources to design a microgrid and smart grid to form a new power framework for continuous power supply. He also spoke about the power generation from several resources, total power production from renewables, and design architecture of a various Microgrid systems and technical aspects related of Microgrids. Finally, he had explained Microgrid project inaugurated in India by NREL for various power system applications and space research.
