The E-FORZA Club, in collaboration with the ECE Department at MVJCE, organized the Simulation Challenge of Electronic Circuits using NI MULTISIM on November 16, 2023. This engaging event featured two rounds of Multisim programming, where 58 students showcased their coding proficiency through hands-on activities conducted in the NI lab.

The inauguration of this club activity was graced by Dr. Sajithra Varun S, Head of the ECE Department. In her address, she acknowledged the significant efforts invested by the students in coding, emphasizing that the event served as a valuable platform for enhancing their skills.

Dr. K V Subramanian, a distinguished alumna of MVJCE's CSE department from the class of 1991 and Principal Member of Technical AMD, graced the occasion as the main guest. The program commenced with a warm welcome to the audience, followed by an enlightening guest lecture by Dr. Subramanian. As the coding contest unfolded, participants immersed themselves in coding activities, and Dr. K V Subramanian, serving as the chief speaker, evaluated their performances.

In the initial round, a total of 58 students participated in the quiz.

After the assessment of their performance in the first round's quiz, 26 students demonstrated exceptional proficiency and advanced to the second round. Among them, two participants were selected based on their outstanding performances in the second round, which considered both the development and execution of the code within the allotted time.

Both rounds of the competition were evaluated by our esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. K V Subramanian. The results were impressive, with Prasad Ganapati Hegde [1MJ20EC091] securing the First Prize and AK Hariharasudhan AK [1MJ20EC007] claiming the Second Prize.

Outcomes:

  • The students put in a lot of efforts to do Multisim programming.
  • Total 58 students got a platform to exhibit their skills.
