About MVJCE

Established in 1982, the MVJ College of Engineering, an autonomous institute, the flagship of Venkatesha Education Society, imparts education beyond Engineering and Management. Situated on a 15-acre lush green campus in Whitefield, Bangalore, MVJCE has state-of-the-art infrastructure, creating an environment for progressive learning and development. We are permanently affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). MVJCE has on-campus learning centers, in collaboration with companies such as National Instruments, Infosys and Texas Instruments. Most of our programs are accredited by National Board of Accreditation.

About the Department

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was started in the year 1982. ECE Department is affiliated to VTU, approved by AICTE and accredited by NBA. The Department has a fulltime UG program in Electronics and Communication Engineering, and a PG program in Digital Electronics and Communication. The Department conducts regular interactive Workshops, Seminars, Conferences, Intra collegiate competitions for enhancement of technical skills and many other programs.
The Department has experienced and highly qualified faculty members, who have specialized in the latest areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering, which includes, VLSI & Embedded Systems, Digital Communications, Communications Systems, Microelectronics, Control Engineering, Digital Electronics and Communications, Signal Processing, Electronics, Image Processing, Wireless Network Security, Computer Networks and so on. The Department is an approved Research Center, under VTU.

ICDI3C-2020

Advanced technologies have focused to interact with real time environment, by integrating the methods of Compute, Communicate and Control (3 Cs). In recent times, many methodologies have been proposed for integrating the 3 Cs, to access data from real time environment. The objective of our International Conference titled ‘Design Innovation for 3 Cs - Compute, Communicate and Control (ICDI3C - 2020)’ is to provide an excellent platform to bring together researchers and practitioners from academia and industry, to focus on understanding recent developments and establishing new collaborations in the field of Electronics and Communication & Telecommunications Engineering. ICDI3C-2020 will be held at MVJCE, Bengaluru, from 25th to 27th April, 2020.

Paper submission - 4th ICDI3C-2020, MVJ COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, BANGALORE

The Fourth International Conference on ‘Design innovation for 3 Cs - Compute, Communicate, Control’ is scheduled from 25th April to 27th April, 2020.
Presentation tracks include Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, Medical Electronics, Computer Science / Information Science and Management. Case studies from practicing Engineers in industries can also be submitted.

The Papers must be original and should not have been published previously or be under consideration for publication, while being evaluated for this Conference. The full manuscript must be submitted in springer format as pdf. Paper length should be maximum of 6 pages. Papers submitted for the Conference will undergo a rigorous and peer-review process. All accepted Papers will be published in the ICDI3C-2020 Conference Proceedings and UGC-approved journals. The best papers selected in this Conference will be published in Scopus indexed Journals.

Rathna G N

She is presently working as a Principal Research Scientist in the Department of Electrical Engineering of Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. She completed her graduation in Engineering in the year 1982. She obtained her M.Sc (Engineering) checked from IISc, Bangalore, in the year 1990. She went on to complete her Ph.D in 1998, from IISc, Bangalore.
After completing Ph.D, she has been working at IISc, Bangalore since 1999, and continues to work there as Principal Scientist. In the last five years she has offered courses like Real Time Systems, Sensor Networks, DSP System Design and Real Time Signal Processing. She is actively involved in Research activities, her current research areas being Embedded Signal / Image Processing and Sensor Systems. For her enterprising work, she has been bestowed with many Awards / Honours, like Tata Rao Medal and Pt. Madan Mohan Malaviya Award. She is Life Time Member of Advanced Computing and Communications Society.

Prof. Anandi Giridharan

She is working in the ECE Department of Indian Institute of Science, as Principal Research Scientist. She did her M.Sc (Engineering) in Ubiquitous Learning in IISc from 2002 to 2004, after completing her Engineering degree in Electrical discipline from Bangalore University. She has been associated with IISc for 29 years, from the year 1990 till date. She started her career as a Scientific Assistant in the ECE department; from 1996 to 2003, she worked in the capacity of Technical Officer Gr. I; from 2003 to 2004, as Technical Officer Gr. II; Scientific Officer Gr. I, from 2004 to February 2006; Senior Scientific Officer, from March 2006 to November 2016; and currently, she is working as Principal Research Scientist, ECE Department
(IISc) - since December 2016. Many Awards and Affiliations have come her way. Some of these are, Member of International Society of Hybrid Microelectronics, India (ISHM), Member of the Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), Member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), Member of IEEE-IISc HKN Chapter.
Prof. Anandi Giridharan has been elevated to the position of IEEE Senior Member - December 2017, Chair, IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (Bangalore Chapter - 2016-2018), Vice Chair, IEEE Women in Engineering - Bangalore Section 2019, Chair Elect, IEEE Women in Engineering - Affinity Group, Bangalore Section 2020, to name a few. Her Research interests include Ubiquitous Learning, Communication Protocols, Cognitive Mapping, Neural Networks and Multimedia Information Systems.

Prof. Marcin Papryzycki is working as an Associate Professor in the Systems Research Institute, Polish Academy of Sciences, ul. Newelska 6, 01-447 Warsaw, Poland. In the year 1986, Prof. completed MS, Mathematics from Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland in Numerical Methods and Programming. In 1990 Prof. completed Ph.D., in Mathematics from Southern Methodist University, Dallas. In 2008, Prof. completed D.Sc. from Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Sofia, Bulgaria in High Performance Algorithms for Matrices with Block Structures.
