The Department of Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering, MVJCE, organized a Webinar on ‘Redefining My Aerospace Dreams’, on 4th March 2021, from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Participants

80 participants from the Aeronautical and Aerospace Engineering departments, MVJCE, participated in this Webinar. Mr. Narendra Singh Maurya (AP – AS) coordinated the event conducted by Zeigler Aerospace, Hyderabad.

The Guest Speaker

Mr. Naresh Solipur, the CEO and Founder of Ziegler Aerospace (and a passionate Aeronautical Engineer), started his journey from the Aeronautical Society of India, Delhi, with a B. Tech degree under his belt. His passion for aviation landed him at Kingston University, London, where he pursued M. Sc in Aerospace Engineering. The desire to contribute more to the aviation industry drives him to work currently on structural monitoring systems, as a Ph.D. scholar at the University of Hertfordshire. His career started at Defence Metallurgical Research Laboratory (DMRL), in 2008. The journey continued at other esteemed organizations like Biggin Hill Airport, London, Monarch Aircraft Engineering, British Airways and Etihad Airways. His experience is complemented by EASA certification on important regulations like Part 145, Part 21 and CS 25. As a member of the Royal Aeronautical Society, he is intensely engaged in developments of the Aviation Industry. To provide a platform to young aviation enthusiasts, ‘KUDOS AEROSPACE’ was established in 2012, in the UK. In 2019, Ziegler Aerospace was founded in the UK, followed by a division in Hyderabad, India.

Lecture on “Redefining My Aerospace Dreams”

In his lecture, Mr. Naresh Solipur first gave a brief introduction about Ziegler Aerospace. The main purpose of the WEBINAR was to prepare the students for short-term training in the field of designing aircraft components, like Wing & Fuel tank panels, Engine cover and Cabin system design and cargo floor panels etc .These components have to be designed having highest possible quality control so that they are fit to be used in aircraft manufacturing which means they are airworthy. They also became aware of the opportunity to get an internship programme in this organization which is based at Hyderabad.

Outcome of the Webinar

Mr. Ramesh Solipur shared his extensive knowledge of the subject with our students. The lecture kindled the interest of students in the field of Aerospace, especially with respect to Designing of Aircraft components for Aerospace applications.
