Seminar on Agile Technologies
A Seminar on ‘Agile Technologies’ was organized by the CSE & AIML Department on 24th Feb 2023, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. Mr.Anil Thankachan Chacko ,Manager ,CapGemini India Pvt. was the guest speaker. The Welcome note was given by Shrutika G K of II year, CSE, MVJCE. The program was presided over by Dr. P Mahabaleswarappa (Principal, MVJCE).
The Seminar was organized for II-year CSE and AIML students. The event aimed to get the awareness on Agile Technologies and its methods and tools in software development. The purpose of the workshop was to expose the students to the various aspects related to the agile skills that are being used in industries, today. According to the global agile survey, 91% of organizations state that it is a strategic priority to adopt Agile.
On his introductory remarks, Mr. Anil Thankachan Chacko explained the conventional Waterfall method of software development. He pointed out that Agile-Scrum is one of the most in-demand software development technologies. He clarified that Agile is a contemporary project management technique that has emerged in recent years and turned the software development industry on its head.
