Physics Concept Painting and Photography
The Department of Physics organized a club event entitled Physics Concept Painting and Photography on 23rd November 2023. The club event has started at 1:30pm, and ended around 3:30pm, followed by the prize distribution. The shortlisted 25 students participated in the club event and we selected best of three among them, we announced 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winners and certificates were issued to the 25 participants. The first prize (Rs.1000) winners are Pranav P D (AS) and Samarth K(AS), Second prize (Rs.500) winners are Likhitha G(AE) and Sagar B L(AE) and Third prize winner (certificate) is Ashmita Sanjay (AE) and remaining students got participation certificates.

Outcome of the Event
The students were involved in conceptual physics learning through their own talents. This made students realise the importance of contributions from other fields in developing any field of knowledge. The paintings and photography which the students came up with was intact with their interest and this led to their active participation. The true application of knowledge was enhanced and the overall conceptual learning was an intriguing experience for the students. Dr.S.Kasthurirangan has encouraged the students to participate the events like this and he was happy with the student’s performance and Participating in such competitions.
