On 22.04.2022 from 10:00 a.m to 12.20 p.m at the Seminar Hall – 4, MVJCE, the Department of Chemical Engineering hosted a Guest Lecture on "Chemical Engineering- Setting out to explore a field used more but known less". Anupama V Joshi, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, RVCE, Bangalore, was the event's Guest Speaker. A total of 70 people from including students and faculty of MVJ College of Engineering attended the lecture.

About the Speaker

Anupama V Joshi is currently employed as an Assistant Professor at RVCE in Bangalore's Department of Chemical Engineering. VTU, Belgaum, awarded her a B.E. and M. Tech. in Chemical Engineering, as well as a PG Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights from National Law School India University, Bangalore. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Heat Transfer Nanofluids for Solar Thermal Power Plants (STPPs) at VTU, Belgaum, under the supervision of Dr. Vinod Kallur, HOD, Chemical Engineering, RV College of Engineering, Bangalore. Heat Transfer Fluids and Nanotechnology, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Chemical Process Design are some of her research interests. Anupama V Joshi's research findings were also published in over three international journals and one international conference, and she was a recipient of a DST-TARE fellowship in 2018.
