The Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized a event entitled Guest Lecture On ” lnsights of Mongo DB”, on 18th November 2022. The event was conducted in “Smt Rajalakshmi Jayaraman Seminar Hall”. The event started at 11am and concluded at 1.30 pm. Total 225 students from all the 5th semesters of Dept. of Computer Science and Engineering participated in this event.

Chief guest Mr. Purushottam kumar, Corporate Trainer for Cranes Varsity Limited arrived and shared his Industry knowledge to the students about learning management System and MongoDB.

A learning management system is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting, automation, and delivery of educational courses, training programs, materials or learning and development programs. Different software development strategies and testing methodologies in corporate.

Different generation of languages such as Simula, FORTAN, smalltalk, C, CSAP, Java, Python, Ruby, Pearl, Sql, where Sql is 4th generation language. Structured verses unstructured data, noSql basically deals with unstructured data such as text, audio, video. Difference between DBMS, RDBMS, NoSQL DBMS.

  • There are 11 types of database system are there. Examples are document oriented database, cloud database. MongoDB is the document oriented database.
  • Searching unstructured documents in MongoDB is faster than the tedious process of converting the data in binary format for storing in RDBMS and fetching the relevant information from that.
  • Zoom , Google meet use NoSQL database for keeping data

MongoDB is a open source document database that provides high performances, high availability.

The first Ready Production of MongoDB has been considered from version 1.4 which was Released in march 2010.

MongoDB is document-oriented database. It offers a document oriented storage very simple you can program its very easily. We should think why instead of what. It use to try to find what then we will think against.
