Chemical Engineering - Board of Studies (BOS) Meeting

The Department of Chemical Engineering held an External Board of Studies (BOS) meeting on 09.09.2023 (Saturday) from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM in Seminar Hall 5, MVJCE. The meeting was attended by faculty from the Department of Chemical Engineering, MVJ College of Engineering, as well as External BOS Members Dr. G. M. Madhu, and Dr. Amol Mahulkar.

A Brief Account of the Meeting

At 10.30 a.m., Dr. M. Venkata Ratnam, Associate Professor, Department of Chemical Engineering, welcomed all the BOS members, the Head of Department, and the faculty of the department. He underlined the importance of dialogue to put the new NEP Scheme into practice and to offer their insightful suggestions for enhancing the curriculum and plan. Dr. M.A. Lourdu Antony Raj, Professor in Chemical Engineering and Controller of Examinations also graced the meeting.

Dr. M. Venkata Ratnam has submitted the Scheme and Syllabus for the 3^rd – 8^th Semester for debate and approval from the external BOS Members to start the meeting. During the meeting's discussion of the scheme and syllabus, External BOS Members provided a very strong feedback and constructive suggestions that will be incorporated into the schema.

The BOS Chairman expressed his sincere thanks to the external BOS members for their in-depth discussion of the program and program that help shape a unique curriculum. He also thanked the MVJCE management, Principal, Vice Principal, Dean-Academics, Dean-Research and COE for their support and guidance in preparing the program and program. He thanked the faculty of the Chemical Engineering department for their support.
