| Professor R M O Gemson |
|
|
|
Professor R M O Gemson has been a pivotal force in starting the MTech program in Aeronautics at MVJCE. He is a post graduate from IISc, Bangalore and CIT, England. He worked at the Aircraft Design Bureau for several years, moving on to become Additional General Manager (Design) and heading Flight Control Systems, System Integration and Armaments and Seat & Safety disciplines. Dr. Gemson has authored / published nearly a dozen technical papers at national and international levels. He is a recipient of Biran Roy Memorial Trust award of Aeronautical Society of India (1983).
His areas of interest
Professor R M O Gemson is currently heading the Aeronautical Engineering department with vast experience in the Aeronautical Engineering field. His areas of interest includes design & development of landing gear system and hydraulic & flight control system, design of stability augmentation system. |

The students get an understanding of nature of flow past various models through flow visualization techniques. The nature of pressure distribution over various aerofoil and body shapes is explained. The wake and boundary layer survey provide information on the momentum thickness and displacement thickness. |
