The Engineering Degree offered at MVJ College of Engineering is approved by All India Council for Technical Education and Affiliated to the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), State of Karnataka.
The undergraduate Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) degree offered at MVJ College of Engineering is a 4 year 8 semester course. MVJ College of Engineering offers the Undergraduate B.E degree in 12 streams of specializations all of which have been approved by AICTE. 11 of the 12 Programs is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). |

| Details of the Foundation Program |

During the foundation course all students will obtain a brief understanding of all major streams of engineering such as
| • Computer and Information Science |
| • Mechanical Science |
| • Electrical and Electronics Science |
| • Concepts of Civil Engineering |
In addition to an overview of the engineering streams, all students will also gain an understanding of basic sciences such as Physics, Chemistry and Math which will form the basis of all the engineering courses. The need to blend into the social environment and practice ethical behavior had led to the introduction of mandatory humanities courses such as Constitution of India and Ethical Practices, English and Kannada Languages. |
