The MVJ Group of Institutions is the reality of one man's dream: Dr. M V Jayaraman - a teacher, a scholar, a musician, but above all, a visionary. His mission was simple: to offer quality education in a wide range of disciplines. His first step into the field of education – the Venkatesha Education Society – has undergone a metamorphosis from a Teacher Training College to a highly eminent organization with 11 institutions functioning  efficiently under its auspices.

Today VES has 11 Institutions under its umbrella including MVJ college of Engineering.. These institutions, imparting education in engineering, medicine, computer science, management, biotechnology, microbiology, and nursing, have not only made an indelible mark on the educational landscape of the country, but also re-written the destinies of thousands.

The MVJ College of Engineering, a premier Engineering College in the country, has, since its establishment in 1982, been carrying forward the legacy of Dr M V Jayaraman. Guiding thousands of students on their way, shaping their future and making them men and women the country would be proud of.
